Common faults and troubleshooting methods of ball valves
1. The ball is washed over
Exclusion method: the assembly should be correct, the operation should be stable, not allowed to be used as throttle valve;The ball should be repaired in time after overturning and the sealing seat should be replaced.
2, when used as throttling function, sealing surface is damaged
Elimination method: the ball valve is not allowed to be used as throttle.
3. The sealing surface is crushed
Exclusion method: tighten the bolt at the valve seat should be uniform, the force should be small, would rather tighten several times, not too much and too tight at one time, the damaged sealing surface can be scraped and repaired.
4. There is no pre-tightening pressure on the sealing surface
Exclusion method: the sealing surface of the valve seat should be regularly checked the pre-tightening pressure, and the sealing surface should be slightly compressed when it is found that the sealing surface has leaked or contacted loose;Preloaded spring loss effect replacement.
5, the spanner, valve stem and the ball three connection gap is large, the spanner has reached the closed position, the ball rotation Angle is less than 90 degrees and the longevity of leakage
Exclusion method: the wrench, valve stem and the ball of the finite mechanism of the three connection loose and clearance is too large should be repaired, fastening to firm;Adjust the limit block, eliminate the advance Angle of the wrench, and make the ball open and close correctly.
6. The contact surface between the valve seat and the body is not smooth and worn, and the O-ring is damaged so that the valve seat leaks.
Elimination method: improve the smooth finish of the contact surface between the valve seat and the body, reduce the disassembly times of the valve seat, and replace the O-ring regularly.
